Garmin^® International announced new updates and expanded region availability for its Garmin Clipboard™ app. Through this free, all-in-one training solution, coaches and athletes using a compatible Garmin smartwatch can track additional data, take advantage of hundreds of pre-built workouts and more — directly from their compatible Apple^® or Android™ device¹.

For coaches and assistant coaches

In addition to reviewing metrics such as progressive run mile splits, pace and VO2 max, and tracking performance trends for individual athletes or an entire team, coaches – and now, assistant coaches – can use Garmin Clipboard to:

• Track running and sprint dynamics
• Apply threshold filters to teams or individual athletes
• Access hundreds of pre-built workouts
• Add custom workouts
• Stay updated on an athlete’s injury and recovery process
• Send announcements and goals to an entire team
• Leave notes on training and workouts for individual athletes

For athletes

Through the athlete portal in Garmin Clipboard, athletes can stay on top of their training by:

• Tracking running stats
• Logging an injury and their recovery process
• Reviewing workouts and announcements sent directly from their coach
• Leaving notes for their coach
• Viewing upcoming weather predictions

How to use Garmin Clipboard

Once a coach adds individual athletes or an entire team to the free Garmin Clipboard app, athletes can record runs on their Garmin smartwatch and sync with Garmin Connect™ to automatically log their activity in Garmin Clipboard.

Designed for in-person or remote training, Garmin Clipboard is free and available for customers around the world with an Apple or Android device.
